HISTORY

SOLIS was founded in 1994 by Fred Berg as Staybright Electric. In the beginning, Staybright  engaged in small electrical tenant improvement contracts. Later the company began performing lighting maintenance for a major big box retailer and soon earned a contract to service their stores in the San Diego area. Over the next 15 years, the company continued to thrive as a full service lighting and electrical services company, managing and performing work throughout the US, Puerto Rico, Guam, and Canada.

TODAY

SOLIS’ client list has grown to include more than 20000 locations including almost 4000 on a scheduled basis.  While many companies choose to outsource work to subcontractors, SOLIS continues to self perform almost 100 percent of our work.

OFFERING

SOLIS is a leading maintenance, repair, upgrade and project rollout partner.  We have successfully expanded our offering from lighting repair and maintenance to also include a wide range of energy conservation measures, including EMS systems and high efficiency motor applications.  We self perform audits, design and engineering, proposals, installations, utility rebate administration and ongoing measurement and verification.
